designating??!!??

if i designate some one that does give up my position of shaman does it?

You can only designate one person at a time, you can't undesignate someone (be careful who you give ops to), and designated users will not automatically receive ops when they rejoin your channel. You can designate people in clan channels, but they only get ops when there isn't a single chieftain or shaman left in the channel. All the other rules still apply.
